How the King stole the Queen’s Crown

Whoever you have been rooting for in this election, the downfall of a presumptive winner to a presumptuous youngster is a fascinating story, and never better told than in the Atlantic’s remarkable publication, with very little comment, of the inside memos of the spiraling Clinton campaign.  

They’re interesting for 1,001 reasons, even to those who aren’t that into politics.  But there was one in particular that struck me, for proving, once again, that even in this dirtiest of games, and even on the brink of disaster, there remain a few men who remember what the process is all about.  Applause is duly awarded.

What’s that? Friday again?

It’s time for the two of us to unglue our eyes from the screen, get up, and see what’s really out there — instead of just writing about it.
