So a while ago, New York Magazine did a fairly delightful History of Obama Feigning Interest in Mundane Things. One intrepid blogger took these to show us what, in all fairness, Obama should be looking at: Awesome Things.

…geeks might actually get some with this bed. Or not. I’m pretty sure geekiness crosses galactical borders. Though, Han can show me his smuggling compartments any day.

It’s all the small, background characters that really flesh out a movie to be an epic. And it’s also those characters that we can then mock easily on blogs because we’re such nerds that we’ve seen the movies enough times to know whom the blogger is actually talking about.

I am a huge fan of baking and cooking. I am also a fan of Star Wars (but not a Star Wars fan, if you get the subtle difference in geekiness). So, I can think of very few cookbooks that are cooler/geekier than these two. Yes, that’s correct, Star Wars cookbooks. Wookie Cookies and Darth Malt. Apparently the recipes are really easy and are great for helping teach kids how to cook. I love Geekdad. *wistful sigh*
