Shoes this week. Because everything is always all about shoes. So I give you these – a gorgeous pair of Thayer McNeil’s from the 1940s. Called “The Foot Saver Shoe”, they were meant to be both sensible and attractive. What a novel concept! I love the little covered button and top -stitching details. Adorable.
This week the vintage find is a lovely little 1940s pouch bag with bright flowers. The flowers and celluloid frame give it an innocence and sweetness that would make any outfit playful. The print itself would coordinate well with quite a few wardrobe options and the pouch style would look great casual or a bit dressier. It’d look especially great paired with some brightly colored wedges. And it still has its matching mirror case. I’m in love.
